Statement of Faith

We believe in the One (Deut. 6:4), infinite (Job 11:709 & Ex. 3:14), sovereign (Eph 1:11 & Rom 11:33) and all powerful (Rom 1:20 & Jer. 10:12) God.

We believe that God is self-existent (Acts 17:24-25), Who has always been (Ps 40:2 & 1 Tim 1:17), and Who will always be, and Who exists as three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit (1 John 5:7 & 2 Cor 13:14).

We believe that Jesus Christ is the only Son of God (John 1:14, 18) and through His death, and resurrection, He alone is the Savior of mankind. (1 Cor 8:4-6, John 3:16 & 1 Tim 2:5)

We believe the Bible to be the inspired and inerrant Word of God, the final authority of faith and life, relevant as much today as it was at its original writing (2 Tim 3:16).

We believe that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge (Proverbs 1:7).

We believe that God has given parents the authority and responsibility to train and nuture all areas of life including the spiritual, emotional, physical and educational.  (Prov 2:1-5, Lev 19:13,  Eph 6:4, 1 Thess 2:7-8, Gal. 6:6, Duet 6:6-9, Ps 132:12, 1 Tim 5:8)

We believe that as a body of believers we are as one unit (1Cor 12:12-27), called to bear one another’s burdens (Gal 6:2) and for the older to teach the younger (Titus 2:3).

Foundational Scriptures:

“These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates”. Deut 6:6-9

“If thy children will keep my covenant and my testimony that I shall teach them, their children also shall sit upon thy throne for evermore”. Psalm 132:12

“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6

“Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates, so that your days and the days of your children may be many in the land that the Lord swore to give your forefathers, as many as the days that the heavens are above the earth”. Deut 11:19-21
